Emergency Plumbing Services in Bournemouth
Around-the-clock plumbing
help in Bournemouth
In Bournemouth we’re often called to flats where the stop tap is hard to find or shared between several properties, making it difficult to shut off a leak quickly. Other common emergencies include shower waste pumps in ensuites that have stopped pumping, under-sink water heaters leaking into kitchen cupboards, and toilets overflowing because of blocked outlets. We also repair leaking bath and shower mixers and failed connections behind kitchen appliances. Our plumbers locate the supply and isolate it fast, carry the parts to complete most repairs in one visit, and agree the price with you before starting.

Emergency Plumber FAQs for Bournemouth
Which areas of Bournemouth do you cover?
We cover all of Bournemouth, including Boscombe, Pokesdown, Southbourne, Tuckton, Westbourne, Winton, Moordown, Charminster, Springbourne, Queens Park, Talbot Woods, Kinson, West Howe, Redhill, Northbourne, Throop, Strouden Park and Littledown.
I can’t find the stop tap in my flat. Where should I look?
Check under the kitchen sink, in the airing cupboard, near the boiler, beside the water meter or in a communal cupboard or hallway. In some buildings the only shut-off is the outside stopcock under a small cover in the pavement. If you still can’t find it, call us and we’ll locate it, and we can fit an accessible stop tap for the future.
Water is sitting in my shower tray and the pump isn’t running. Can you fix it?
Yes. Shower waste pumps often stop working because hair and soap have blocked the filter or the trap, or because the pump motor or switch has failed. Check the pump has power, then stop using the shower to avoid an overflow. We’ll clean or replace the pump and clear the waste pipe.
The water heater under my sink is leaking. What should I do?
Switch off the power to the heater at its switch or fused spur, then close the isolation valve on the cold supply feeding it. Leaks usually come from the pressure relief valve, a pipe connection or the tank itself. We’ll repair the fault or replace the unit if it can’t be fixed.
Do you agree the price before starting?
Yes. Your plumber will diagnose the problem and give you a clear quote. Work only goes ahead once you’ve agreed to the price.
