Emergency Plumbing Services in Birmingham
Emergency plumbers for houses
and flats across Birmingham
We handle a wide mix of emergencies in Birmingham, from flats on communal heating that lose hot water because of a fault in the heat interface unit, to upper floors losing water pressure when a building’s booster pump fails, and leaks inside service cupboards and risers. In houses, we regularly deal with burst pipes, blocked outside gullies, failed boilers and leaking cylinders. Our plumbers locate and isolate the leak quickly, work with building managers where shared systems are involved, carry the parts to complete most repairs in one visit, and agree the price with you before starting.

Emergency Plumber FAQs for Birmingham
Which areas of Birmingham do you cover?
We cover all of Birmingham, including the city centre, Digbeth, Jewellery Quarter, Edgbaston, Harborne, Moseley, Kings Heath, Stirchley, Selly Oak, Bournville, Northfield, Longbridge, Kings Norton, Hall Green, Acocks Green, Yardley, Small Heath, Sparkhill, Aston, Handsworth, Perry Barr and Erdington.
My flat is on communal heating and I have no hot water. Can you help?
First check whether neighbours have hot water. If the whole building is affected, contact your building manager, as the problem is likely in the central plant. If it’s only your flat, the fault is usually in the heat interface unit, such as a blocked strainer, a faulty valve or a controls issue. We can check the unit in your flat and repair it where possible.
The upper floors of our building have lost water pressure. What’s causing it?
Many taller buildings rely on a booster pump to push water to the upper floors. If the pump fails or a valve sticks, pressure drops or the supply stops. Let your building manager know, and with their permission we can inspect the pump set and valves and carry out repairs.
There’s a leak in the service cupboard in my flat. What should I do?
Turn off your flat’s stop tap, which is often inside the service cupboard, in the hallway or under the kitchen sink. Keep water away from any electrics in the cupboard and let the flat below know if water may be reaching them. We’ll find the leaking pipe or fitting and repair it.
Will I get a quote before work starts?
Yes. Your plumber will diagnose the problem and give you a clear quote first. Work only begins once you’ve agreed to the price.
